About Me

A fine art photographer now living in East Sussex, I have a love of landscape work that is influenced by J W M Turner, Fay Godwin, Charlie Waite and Michael Kenna.

Always seeking to capture the spirit and light of a place, ongoing projects include recording the ever changing landscape of Dungeness, my "Sacred" project which is the overarching theme for a number of bodies of work including "Memory of Trees" and "Sacred Sites". More recently I have used what I term as 'slow photography' for "Between Land and Sea" which documents the many vulnerable structures along the East Sussex coast before they are destroyed or reshaped.

A film user for many years I switched to digital ten years ago, however, my love of film continues and I use Canon film cameras and a Holga 120 for experimental work as well as the Canon 5D Mk II and Fuji Xpro for digital images.
